Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam has achieved a milestone during day three of the first Test in Perth.
The 29-year-old became the fifth Pakistan batter to score over 13,000 runs in international cricket. The right-handed batter has an average of 49.08, the most among the top five batters. In 301 innings, he has registered 31 centuries and 81 fifties.
Former Pakistan skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq has scored 20,541 runs, the most for Pakistan in international cricket.

Australia’s all-rounder Mitchell Marsh dismissed Pakistan’s star batter and former captain Babar Azam in the first innings on the third day of the opening Test of the series in Perth on Saturday.
Azam edged one to wicketkeeper Alex Carey after scoring 21 runs in the first session of the day.
Earlier, Pat Cummins dismissed nightwatchman Khurram Shahzad after scoring seven runs.
Pakistan resumed their first innings at 132-2 after dismissing Australia for 487 at the stumps on the second day of the first Test in Perth on Friday.
Abdullah Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq gave Pakistan a solid start as they added 74 runs for the first wicket. However, Lyon gave Australia a breakthrough after dismissing Shafique for 42.
Captain Shan Masood looked good during his 30 runs, in 43 balls, but he was also dismissed towards the close of play after chasing a wide delivery from Mitchell Starc as Alex Carey completed the catch behind the stumps.
The visitors were dismissed for 271 in their first innings on the third day with Australia taking a lead of 216 runs.
Pat Cummins confirmed that Australia will bat again and won't enforce the follow-on.
Opener Imam-ul-Haq top-scored for Pakistan with 62 runs in 199 balls with the help of four boundaries.
Abdullah Shafique scored 42, meanwhile, captain Shan Masood added 30 runs.
Pakistan were 122-1 at one stage but then lost their next nine wickets for 149.
