Delhi Capitals will face Kolkata Knight Riders in the match 16 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 on Wednesday, April 3.
The match will be held by Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
With three matches played, Delhi Capitals have bagged just one victory, against Chennai Super Kings, in the event so far.
Meanwhile, two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders are unbeaten in the tournament so far, with two wins in as many matches.
KKR are at second spot on the points table, while DC are in seventh place.
DC and KKR have locked horns in 32 IPL matches, so far. DC have registered wins in 15 of those, while Kolkata ended on the right side of result 16 times. One match did not produce any result.
"I hope the crowd will be with DC this time and will support us. We will also make sure the crowd is enjoying. We want to finish on a nice note because it is our last game here in Vizag,” said DC assistant coach Pravin Amre.
Meanwhile, KKR bowling coach Bharat Arun was not concerned about star pacer Mitchell Starc's form: "He is one of the most experienced bowlers around the world and also someone who understands the conditions and adapts to them very well. You will see a different version of him in the future. He knows what it takes to succeed.”
