Pakistan’s scoring rate in the middle over in T20I cricket has become a matter of concern which has raised alarm bells among the fans as the 2024 World Cup is just 39 days away.
Despite having players like Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam, two of the fastest players to complete 3,000 runs in T20I cricket, Pakistan have been struggling to play aggressive cricket.
The statistics have started to worry the fans with the mega event just around the corner.
Pakistan’s middle-order has been a subject of question for a long time and the trend seems to continue as their scoring rate in overs 7-15 is 7.30, which is only better than Afghanistan.
Australia remain on top with a scoring rate of 9.75, South Africa second at 9.35 while India is third with an 8.97 run rate in overs 7-15.
