Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf has stated that it was easy for him to make a comeback for the national side due to his past performances.

The 30-year-old had a shoulder injury during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine while representing Lahore Qalandars. He missed the five-match series at home against New Zealand followed by the games in Ireland.

He picked figures of 2/34 in second T20I against England and was instrumental in the middle overs. While narrating his rehabilitation journey and naming those who supported him during this phase, he thanked his family.

"The family support remains throughout your career. Making a comeback is not easy but if one has deliver performances in the past, it is not difficult for the team to select again," he said in a pre-match presser ahead of the third T20I in Cardiff.

"It's hard for a player when he gets injured and comes back again for the game. It's not easy because you are struggling a lot at that time. For an express bowler, you need pace so it's not easy to maintain same pace and length after an injury. It's hard for every player however belief in yourself makes the process easier," he added.

The third T20I between Pakistan and England will begin at 10:30pm PST (which is 5:30pm GMT).

However, there is a high chance of rain tomorrow in Cardiff which could affect the match. According to The Weather Channel, there is a 92 percent chance of downpour on Tuesday.

England lead the series 1-0 after triumphing in the second T20I on Saturday by 23 runs.

The first match in Leeds was washed out on Wednesday without a ball being bowled. The final match of the series will be held at The Oval on Thursday.
