Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim is not playing the fourth and final T20I match of the series.

The 35-year-old has been advised to take rest after he experienced discomfort in his right rib cage during Wednesday's training session.

He was sent for a preventative scan as advised by the PCB medical panel.

"Keeping the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in mind Imad will take ample rest and is expected to be fit before the start of Pakistan's campaign," PCB said in a press release.

The panel is actively monitoring Imad's progress and will provide further updates if deemed necessary.

Meanwhile, England have won the toss and opted to bowl first.

With two games washed out due to rain, only one match has been played where England secured a 23-run victory in the second T20I.

This match represents a final opportunity for both teams to address their shortcomings and finalise their combinations ahead of the T20 World Cup.
