Test cricketer Ahmed Shehzad believes that the Pakistan team is not ready for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024.
Shehzad expressed his views on the preparations of Pakistan for the T20 World Cup in Geo News program Report Card.
“We’re not at all prepared for the tournament and there’s nothing to lie about. When Babar Azam was asked in the press conference whether his team is prepared for the forthcoming T20 World Cup, he did not answer this question instead said that this team is made after going through a long selection process, because he is aware that his team is not prepared,” Shehzad said.

On the other hand, Pakistan team have reached Dallas and will be playing their first match of the tournament on Thursday, June 6 against the USA.
