Pakistan’s wrist spinner Usama Mir had an exceptional day with the ball during the match between Sydney Sixers and Melbourne Stars in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL) 13th edition at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Tuesday.

Mir picked up three important wickets as the Stars managed to restrict the Sixers to 154 runs in the allocated overs.

Daniel Hughes, Moises Henriques, who is Sixers' captain, and Jordan Silk became Usama’s victims as he provided his side with a much-needed breakthrough as the Sixers were 45/4 in 8.4 overs

However, James Vince’s prowess made sure that the Sixers scored a competitive total as the English batter scored a rapid 83 off 53 balls with 10 boundaries.

By the time this story was filed, the Stars were batting at 37/1 in five overs during their chase of 155.

Usama Mir is accompanied by his national teammates Haris Rauf and Imad Wasim, who is playing his first match for the Stars as he joined the team on Monday.

Imad failed to pick any wicket as the left-handed finger spinner went 34-0 in four overs while Rauf managed to bag three to his name for 38 runs.

It is worth mentioning that Melbourne Stars announced earlier that it has introduced a designated seating area called "Pakistan Bay" on level 1 of the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), an area that promises a unique and thrilling experience for cricket enthusiasts.

It also unveiled an exclusive membership called the "House of Rauf" for the BBL 13, which brings an unparalleled fan experience and allows fans to witness the exciting action live from "Pakistan Bay."

Melbourne Stars and the MCG aimed to create a memorable experience for fans with the introduction of Pakistan Bay and the House of Rauf membership.
