The Pakistan Volleyball team kicked off their AVC Challenge Cup campaign with a remarkable 25-19, 25-19, and 25-21 win over Kazakhstan which was played in Bahrain.

The match, held as part of the Preliminary Round, witnessed utmost resilience and discipline from the Pakistan team that didn’t give any ground to their opponent and went on to win the match with a strong performance.

A strong win in the first match of the tournament will surely be a great confidence booster for the Pakistani side as they recently defeated Australia in a three-match series and are eager to continue their high flight.

Pakistan’s head coach Ruben Wolochin from Argentina couldn’t be happier with the team’s performance as he believes that the team perfectly executed his strategies.

"The boys played with great determination and executed the strategies perfectly,” said Wolochin. “This win is a testament to their hard work and dedication.”

Wolochin’s staff includes Brazilian physical trainer Lucas Rodrigues who has been instrumental to the team’s success recently as he is the key to the team’s physical condition, which has been great.

Pakistan’s assistant coach Mohammad Ismail Khan and analyst Juan Cobucci have also played their part in preparing the team for such tournaments so the team could have a shot at lifting the title.

Chairman of the Pakistan Volleyball Federation, Chaudhry Mohammad Yaqoob, opened up after the team’s impressive win and expressed his optimism for the remaining matches saying the team will keep performing at this level.

"This victory against Kazakhstan is a significant morale booster,” said Yaqoob. “We are confident that the team will continue to perform at this high level," he said.

Pakistan will now face Thailand in yet another important match on June 3.
