The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has provided update regarding the injury and recovery of fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain.
Mohammad Hasnain, who sustained an injury during the Lanka Premier League (LPL) in August, underwent an ankle operation a few weeks ago. The PCB has reported that he is making significant progress during his rehabilitation process.
The latest news from the PCB states that Mohammad Hasnain is expected to make a full recovery in approximately two weeks. The young fast bowler is on track to return to competitive cricket soon.
Remember, Hasnain travelled to England from Sri Lanka and had an MRI. The scans revealed the fast bowler requires rehabilitation for his ankle, which has been under process since September 13 in England.
Hasnain was part of the Pakistan Shaheens squad for the 19th Asian Games, however, he was ruled out and replaced by Mubassir Khan.
It must be noted that Naseem Shah and Ihsanullah are also recovering from their respective injuries.
Naseem, 20, successfully underwent surgery on his injured shoulder last week. As per PCB, Naseem Shah remained absolutely stable during the operation and was discharged from the hospital the next day.
He will be attended by two physiotherapists for his rehabilitation initially at the hospital and also later at the training ground and gym. During this entire period, he will be continuously monitored and the doctor who operated on him will see him again in the third week of October.
Meanwhile, Ihsanullah had to undergo surgery in a private hospital in Lahore. A doctor was flown in from England to operate Ihsanullah in the first week of September to operate Ihsanullah in the first week of September.
After the operation, he was placed in an elbow brace for four weeks, with a doctor and physio attending him on a daily basis.
