Four-time Grand Slam champion Iga Swiatek has stated that she would be happy to help Hollywood actor Zendaya improve her game.

Zendaya and boyfriend and fellow actor Tom Holland attended the match on Sunday as Swiatek eased past Maria Sakkari 6-4, 6-0 to clinch the Indian Wells title for the second time.

Zendaya posed with Swiatek and her trophy after the conclusion of the match.

"For sure, meeting Zendaya was crazy, but on the other hand, she's a human like all of us," Swiatek said of the "Dune" star, who will also be a part of the forthcoming tennis-based "Challengers" movie.

"I was just happy that she's enjoying tennis and she's, you know, having this movie with a tennis theme coming out.

"So that should be really exciting. She can practice with me any time if she wants to."

Swiatek was also delighted to get a chance to meet the actor.

"For sure it was fun and she's a really great person," Swiatek said. "I feel pretty privileged that I'm in this place where I can meet these kind of people."

The top seed quickly took a 3-0 lead before Sakkari levelled proceedings at 4-4. Swiatek won the opener after hitting a forehand winner on her third set point.

Swiatek was also on song in the second set as she served out a bagel and won the match.

"It's an amazing thing to be standing here again," Swiatek told the crowd during the trophy ceremony.

"Thank you for really making this feel like home. Every year that I come here I feel really positive vibes because of you."
