The T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up match between India and Bangladesh was briefly interrupted due to a spectator entering and meeting Rohit Sharma at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York.
The incident occurred in the second half of the match when India were bowling.
The spectator was swiftly apprehended by police officials, and although Rohit requested leniency, his plea had no effect as security officials escorted the spectator off the field.
