The chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi visited Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on Wednesday to oversee the upgradation work currently going on.
Despite having a public holiday, Naqvi visited the stadium and inspected the demolishing of offices inside the premises. He gave the task of completing the demolition of the offices by June 30.
He also confirmed that the machinery and the labour workforce will be increased after the Eid holidays.
“The speed of the work needs to be increased and it should be done within the [given] time frame by investing additional resources,” Naqvi said. “Upgradation of National Bank Stadium Karachi and Rawalpindi Stadium along with Gaddafi Stadium will be completed before the Champions Trophy.”
