On the night of Saturday, 15th December, at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida, the Jake Paul experience took on a more traditional appearance.

Jake Paul, in his new role as a boxing prospect, knocked out Andre August (10-2-1, 5 KOs) in the first round.

Jake, a YouTuber who shifted into boxing, has faced considerable criticism for his choice of opponents. He gained attention for defeating a retired NBA player and aging MMA fighters. However, on this particular Saturday night, he faced an opponent with a more conventional boxing background.

Paul took a calculated risk, considering that Andre August isn't a prospect but more of a club-level fighter. August had only 25 amateur fights and his 10 professional wins were against opponents with a combined record of (34-65-5).

Meanwhile, Logan Paul, Jake's brother, was shocked by his brother's first-round knockout and shared his reaction in a ringside video, playfully pretending to be asleep to jest at the defeated Andre August.

Logan witnessed his brother's victory ringside in Orlando and promptly shared a humorous reaction to the knockout on X (previously Twitter).

Logan Paul's response to Jake Paul's KO victory over Andre August became viral as it captured his stunned reaction followed by mimicking the loser's defeat by feigning sleep.

Returning to the ring four months after defeating Nate Diaz, Jake Paul effortlessly handled August, delivering a fierce right uppercut just 40 minutes into the opening round, causing August to fall flat on his back onto the canvas.

The camera swiftly alternated between the fight and Jake, capturing the 28-year-old influencer's delighted smile, evidently surprised by the swift triumph.

He continued to smile broadly, mimicking sleep by resting his head in his hands—a mocking gesture towards how his brother had put August to rest.

Leading up to his bout against Jake Paul, Andre August had suffered only one loss, which came via knockout. The individual who knocked out August, Eric Abraham, currently holds a record of (7-16, 3 KOs) and has been knocked out 13 times.
