Forbes released its’ annual list of the highest-paid female athletes for 2023 and Polish tennis star Iga Swiatek topped the charts earning a whopping $23.9 million ($14 million of which came off the field).

At just 22 years of age, Swiatek is already a four-time Grand Slam winner — three French Open titles and a US Open — and the way she has been performing and reaching new heights, there are no doubts that she is destined for greatness.

After Swiatek, Freestyle skier Eileen Gu from China finished second on the list, earning £22.1 million, with £22 million of that coming off the field.

Swiatek and Gu are followed by eight tennis players in the top 10 – US Open champion Coco Gauff (£21.7M) at No 3, Great Britain’s Emma Raducanu at No 4 (£15.2M), former world No 1 Naomi Osaka at No 5 (£15M), Australian Open champion Aryna Sabalenka at No 6 (£14.7M), American Jessica Pegula at No 7 (£12.5M), seven-time Grand Slam singles champion Venus Williams (£12.2M) at No 8, Australian Open runner-up Elena Rybakina at No 9 (£9.5M), and Leylah Fernandez, who helped Canada win the Billie Jean King Cup title at No 10 (£8.8M).
