Peshawar Zalmi's opening pair of Saim Ayub and Babar Azam stroked a partnership of 136 for the first wicket in the ongoing 12th game of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine against Lahore Qalandars.

After being put into bat first by Lahore's skipper Shaheen Afridi, the duo completely dominated. After reaching yet another 100-run stand, Babar and Saim have now four-century partnerships in PSL, the joint highest in the tournament's history.

Babar and Saim have played 14 innings together, the lowest among other holders of this record. Second on the list in Mohammad Rizwan and Rilee Rossouw who did it 16 innings.

Meanwhile, Rizwan and Shan Masood have this many in 28 innings.

It must be noted that Peshawar and Lahore are placed fifth and sixth before the start of this game.

Lahore Qalandars made two changes, Mohammad Imran and Carlos Brathwaite come in place of George Linde and Haris Rauf while Peshawar Zalmi are unchanged.
