As the 2024 NBA season is coming to its end with playoffs set to begin soon, 21 teams in the league are still playing for something as teams for the playoffs have not been finalised yet.
The standings change with every game played, giving the already tense rankings a different dimension as fans keep on looking for their favourite franchise's chances of making it to the playoffs which will start on April 20.
Stars like LeBron James, Nikola Jokic, Stephen Curry and others are giving their all to make sure their side finishes on top of the rankings, which would provide fans much to wait for when the playoffs finally begin.
Here are the latest NBA standings
Eastern Conference
From the Eastern Conference, 10 teams that will make their way are almost set as the 11th-placed Brooklyn Nets are not playing well enough to pose any probable threat to the 10th-placed Atlanta Hawks.
Western Conference
Meanwhile, in the Western Conference, things are not as settled as in the East. The 11th-placed Houston Rockets pulled the last few strings and now trail the 10th-placed Golden State Warriors by nothing more than just a single game. However, the Rockets remain the only team the Warriors need to worry about as the Utah Jazz have gone on a post-trade-deadline swoon for the second straight season.
Remember, the first round of the 2024 NBA Playoffs will begin on April 20 and the conference semi-finals will take place on May 6 and 7 but can move up to May 4 or 5 if the prior rounds are finished earlier.
