Left-arm pacer Junaid Khan named his playing XI for Pakistan for the fourth T20I against England which will be played at The Oval on Thursday.

The four-match series is led by the hosts 1-0 as the first and third T20Is were called off without a ball bowled due to persistent rain in Leeds and Cardiff, respectively.

Khan, who represented Pakistan in 107 international matches, included Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan as opener in his playing XI for the fourth T20I while Saim Ayub, who has been struggling to score big, was demoted to the third position.

The left-armer kept the playing XI almost the same but he made one change in the bowling options. He brought Naseem Shah, who didn’t play the second T20I, in place of Mohammad Amir.

“My playing XI for today's match would be,” Khan posted on X, formerly Twitter.

“1- Mohammad Rizwan 2- Babar Azam 3- Saim Ayub 4- Fakhar Zaman 5- Iftikhar Ahmed 6- Shadab Khan 7- Azam Khan 8- Imad Wasim 9- Shaheen Afridi 10- Naseem Shah 11- Haris Rauf.”

Remember, according to The Weather Channel, the match could be affected by rain since there is a 42 percent chance of downpour today in Kennington.

This is the last series for both sides before the T20 World Cup 2024, which will begin in the United States and West Indies from June 1.

England are the defending T20 World Cup champions after beating Pakistan in the final in 2022 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia.
