Pakistan will play their last match of the T20 World Cup 2024 against Ireland at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida on Sunday.

Two matches — United States vs Ireland and India vs Canada — have been called off in the last two days in Florida without a single ball bowled as the early morning rain left many wet patches on the field on both days and the umpires eventually called the matches off.

Ever since stepping in Lauderhill, Pakistan couldn’t get a chance to do team practice inside the stadium due to the wet outfield and they could only do indoor sessions. However, after two days of inaction, we might finally get to see the players in action on Sunday.

According to the Weather Channel, the sky will remain covered with clouds the chances of rain pouring down are little to none. The match will begin at 10:30AM (local time) — 7:30PM PST.

Weather forecast in Lauderhill, Florida, on June 16:

8AM (local time): 7% chance of rain

9AM (local time): 7% chance of rain

10AM (local time): 5% chance of rain

11AM (local time): 8% chance of rain

12PM (local time): 7% chance of rain

1PM (local time): 10% chance of rain

Both Pakistan and Ireland are out of the T20 World Cup. Pakistan lost to the USA and India in their first two matches of the tournament which troubled their chances of making it to the next round.

They made a comeback against Canada but the damage was already done as the USA just needed one more point to make it to the Super 8 which they got after their match against Ireland was washed out.
