The departure of the 25-year-old superstar, though significant, has left PSG indifferent, as they anticipate saving approximately £170 million annually by removing his salary from their books. This financial windfall is expected to be reinvested in finding his replacement.
The French club has long admired Rashford and held discussions with his brother and agent last summer. However, the English forward committed his future to Man Utd by signing a new five-year contract in July.
