Pakistan will face England in the fourth and final T20I of the series on Thursday at the Kennington Oval in London.

Only one match in the series has produced a result so far, while two were washed out due to rain in Leeds and Cardiff.

This match represents a final opportunity for both teams to address their shortcomings and finalise their combinations ahead of the T20 World Cup.

The hosts are 1-0 up in the four-match series after defeating Babar Azam and his men in the second T20I courtesy of standout performances from captain Jos Buttler, Will Jacks, Moeen Ali, and Jofra Archer.

England will rely on in-form players such as opening batter Phil Salt, along with newcomer Will Jacks, Jonny Bairstow, and Moeen to score the bulk of the runs.

Notably, regular captain Buttler didn't travel to Cardiff for third T20I due to paternity leave and his participation in the final game is also highly unlikely.

Moeen will lead in his absence. This likely means that England will play all-rounder Sam Curran and push Jonny Bairstow to open the innings with Phil Salt.

On the other hand, the Men in Green will aim to bounce back and put on a strong performance against the hosts to level the series

Pakistan will look to have their batters return to form after only Fakhar Zaman smashed a 21-ball 45 while others struggled.

Pakistan will hope pacers Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Amir, and Haris Rauf, as well as spinners Imad Wasim and Abrar Ahmed, can dismantle England's batting lineup.

They are expected to make a few changes in their lineups, considering the matches are for the T20 World Cup 2024 preparations.

The match will begin at 10:30pm PST (which is 5:30pm GMT).

However, the weather forecast isn’t ideal ahead of the fourth T20I since there is a 71 percent chance of rain tomorrow in London.

Likely lineups

Pakistan: Usman Khan, Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam (c), Fakhar Zaman, Azam Khan (wk), Iftikhar Ahmed, Imad Wasim, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Amir, Abrar Ahmed

England: Jonny Bairstow, Phil Salt (wk), Will Jacks, Harry Brook, Liam Livingstone, Moeen Ali (c), Sam Curran, Adil Rashid, Jofra Archer, Chris Jordan, Reece Topley

Prediction

England appeared strong in both departments in the second T20I, while Pakistan faced some challenges with their batting form. Therefore, we predict that England will win the third game as well.
