Two matches were played in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 on Tuesday with England facing Scotland in Barbados, West Indies, and the Netherlands locking horns with Nepal in Dallas, United States.
The first match between England and Scotland was called due to persisent rain in Barbados while the Dutch emerged victorious in their encounter.

In the first match between England and Scotland, the rain reduced the match to 10 overs after which Scotland finished their innings at 90/0. However, due to the DLS method, the revised target was 109 runs.
After Scotland concluded their innings, the rain started once again and the umpires decided to call it off. Both teams were awarded one point each.
George Munsey (41 off 31) and Michael Jones (45 off 39) were the only Scottish batters to bat.
Meanwhile, in the second between the Netherlands and Nepal, the Dutch won by six wickets at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas.
The Dutchmen chased the target in the 19th over on the back of Max O'Dowd's unbeaten 54 off 48 balls.
Scott Edwards' and his men were pushed to put an effort in the chase by the Nepalese bowlers but O'Dowd was firm from the one end.
Vikramjit Singh was the other notable batter, scoring 22 runs off 28 balls.
Sompal Kami, Abinash Bohara and Dipendra Singh Airee took a wicket each for Nepal.
Earlier, Pacer Logan van Beek starred with three wickets while skipper Tim Pringle also took as many, dominating against the opposition.
